The work of Aaron R Thomas Design created a high-tech fantasy land at the charity gala for Tiger Woods’ 10th annual fund-raiser, TigerJam X, May 26, 2007, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Afterwards: Bon Jovi and Daughtry!
Our grand chandelier, NEST 1, was the focal point of the ballroom. The first of our NEST series is an artistic collaboration between Aaron R Thomas and Anne Ewen (also known as a.r.t.a.e.). A one-of-a-kind sculptural assemblage of countless loops and curls of re-claimed acrylic / lucite and bullet-proof glass, NEST 1 measures approximately 11ft x 9ft x 15ft. It is an intriguing balance of high-tech material with sensual organic shapes.
