We have to carefully position this 1300lb piece of petrified wood over a rigid structural steel cantilevered base in order to make sure that the piece will retain stability by having the bottom mirror the weight displacement of the organic shaped piece. This takes a ton of planning, engineering, steel, welding, and a forklift doesn’t hurt.
